Branchlets & leaf stalks reddish, & leaf buds red & soft, shiny toothed green leaves to 35 cm. long, Fragrant white bell-shaped flowers in terminal sprays In November-December & reddish fruit in June/August. Makes a good indoor foliage plant.

A large shrub to approximately 6m. Broad leaves that are red in early stages and flowers that are white and bell shaped.
