Carex fascicularis - Tassel Sagde
SEDGE TO 1 METRE TALL
Tufted erect habit, flat leaves to 9mm wide and bright green flower spikelets on pendulous stems in spring. Loves full sun and a damp spot, ideal along creek banks or pool edge. Frost tolerant and excellent in flower arrangements.

Coastal districts in the far south east of the continent with northern most limit in south east Queensland.
Large densely tufted clumping sedge to 1m with strappy green leaves and attractive seed heads. Provides habitat for birds and frogs when planted in a hedge style.
Tolerant of most conditions, but best planted in full sun in boggy conditions.
