GRASS TO 1 METRE TALL
Erect tufted perennial grass up to 1 metre tall with narrow flat leaf blades tapering at the ends and yellowish to brown inflorescences 8-15 cm long. Widespread in SE Queensland, usually on sandy soils. Young growth readily eaten by stock.
