iNaturalist
Explore the Cedar Creek Adventure biodiversity project on iNaturalist, where we catalog the flora, fauna, and fungi found on the property.
iNaturalist Biodiversity Project
We use the citizen science platform iNaturalist to record and catalog the diverse flora, fauna, fungi, and insect species found at Cedar Creek Adventure. This project helps us compile an accurate, crowd-sourced biological record of the property over time.
🌿 The Cedar Creek Adventure Project
Our dedicated iNaturalist project page aggregates every observation made within the property boundaries:

By listing observations here, we can:
- Verify Species: Leverage the global community of scientists and naturalists on iNaturalist to confirm plant and animal identifications.
- Track Biodiversity: Map out where different species thrive across the property's micro-climates (creek banks, dry gully, forest pioneer zones).
- Observe Seasonal Trends: Track flowering seasons, wildlife migrations, and fungal blooms year-on-year.
🔍 Linking Our Database to iNaturalist
Many of the specimens in our Plants Database contain direct links to their matching iNaturalist species guides. When browsing a plant, look for the iNaturalist link under its scientific name to view global observation maps, taxonomy trees, and community discussions.
🤝 How to Contribute
